It's a wonderful place to get away from the busy life of the city, gives a complete cut off front the rest of the world. You can have peace by the beautiful views and the serene wild life in the island. The staff is very welcoming.

Weekend Getaway”
I just spent 3 days at Anantara Al Yamm resort with my wife. The resort is great both for couples or families looking to relax a few days away from the city. The rooms are big and very cosy, the staff is very helpful, always smiling and doing their best to make you confortable. The only negative is the price of the activities and restaurants, they are a little expensive. However, the fact that the activities take all place within the wildlife reserve explains the prices and we were happy to pay a little more to allow for this beautiful reserve to prosper. All in all a great experience which I definitely recommend.

Amazing place to wind down”
Two nights here is a great way to wind down from everything. We love staying in a villa on the beach with private pool as if it's too windy to be in the sea, the kids can just jump in the pool (which is heated). Amazing to be able to sit and soak up the views whilst sand gazelles play on the beach in front of you! Our kids are 5 & 6 years old and love going on the safari to see all the animals. Only issue we had was with the ferry times. Getting to the island means catching a ferry at either 3,6 or 11pm (massive time differences) and leaving means catching a ferry at 9am or 1pm. Neither set of timings are quite right in our experience as we drive there from Saudi so border crossings and roadworks can be unpredictable. Might not be an issue if you don't have young children or a long drive ahead.

It was an amazing experience. There were 2 things that I didn’t like. The picture from Agoda shows a smal pool in front of the beach villa, which surprisingly we didn’t have, even though I carefully reviewed the type of property we’re paying for. And 2... it was my birthday and instead of having the room set complimentary for me with petals and Happy birthday written on the bed and the cake, they charged us 430 dirhams, which is 100 euros. From a high class resort, I was expecting a different treatment for my birthday.

Extraordinary setup and staff quality is impressive. Young kids noise kill the tranquil atmosphere in Al Yamm and Al Sahel. At this level of prestige price, no kid policy should apply as was told these villas are designed for couple in mind.

A wonderful, relaxing stay”
We went there for a night away from Dubai. Although it took 3 hours to get to the jetty, we took an early water taxi (10am)over and got a late check out the next day, so maximised our time and made it worth the drive. The villas were lovely, cosy and comfortable and we had our own little patio facing the mangroves with the beach in the background. The restaurant and pool were nice and right on the beach - it was quiet and peaceful and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a break from people and/or Dubai!

I like the service and my villa in front of mangrove. The swimming pool is nice and you can make the warm water. I like everything in hotel and there is many activity you can do it there like riding horse, kayaking , safari , riding bicycle and archery.

The place itself is amazing, quiet, away from the city noise. But please be careful when you eat at their restaurants. Very disappointing service! I almost lost my unborn baby because of a mishap by the chief of the Olio restaurant! You provide them with specific instructions on how you want them to cook your burger patty and then you eat the bloody thing thinking hey it's a 5 star resort and their standards should be 5 star! No, they're not. I ended up consuming raw meat while 3 months pregnant and thankfully I decided to eat the other half of the burger with a knife and fork so I got to see the red meat that I was so happily consuming!!! So, be aware. Also the cleanliness of the place sucks as I found hair that does not belong to us in the bathroom and dirt around the sink :|!

The pros, activity list is great, and you can do as much or as little as you like. So tranquil and the staff are exceptional. The evening meals we ate were beautiful (at fish restaurant and African restaurants) Cons, the breakfast was only very average. Had such a peaceful much needed weekend, welcomed by the amazing staff who looked after everything we needed and went above and beyond. Highly recommend

It's absolutely one of the most romantic and luxury location in UAE. A stay that nobody forget. If I've to find something that might be improved is the jacuzzi/pool water temperature. Specially in winter would be better to have it warmer in order to stay in longer time and enjoy some drinks.

It was a weekend getaway and for that it was satisfactory. The hotel itself is not decorated well and the restaurant menu is VERY limited. To get anything else you have to be driven to one of the other two hotels, at least ten minutes away. Glad we did it once. Will not return.
