A Great Stay”
My stay at the Alpha Hotel was honestly amazing. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with check-in and check-out. The hotel itself was really beautiful, with exceptional cleanliness and a great location. It was minutes away from a variety of cafes, restaurants and a main shopping centre. For the quality of the stay and the hospitality experienced, the price was beyond reasonable and it was a great night spent away!

Cheaper than the city”
This hotel is good value for money and presents itself as very clean with the room service. It was about 20 mins from the city if you dont mind the drive. It also included car parking for free unlike some of the city hotels that charge extra. We had a studio suite which gave us that bit extra room, however the walls are thin and the noise tends to travel from the surrounding rooms. If you are a light sleeper like my partner this could bother you.

If you’re after a quiet, dark and comfortable sleep, this is your place. Although it’s away from the city centre, it isn’t a problem if you have a car. Great facilities including a gym. Close to lake for a nice morning walk. Would return.

Good room for the night. Only concern was the combined bath shower as my mum found it difficult to get in and out of. Vikings next door was a great venue for dinner.

Pubic hair on the shower wall and the bathroom smelled like someone had cleaned up a throw up. The bedroom was tidy, linen crisp and the staff at the bistro across was energetic and kind. Breakfast portions were generous.

I would give this motel a higher rating except they don't provide breakfast! Even cereal and toast would be a fine addition! Otherwise, it's a great location for our needs, quiet, friendly staff, tidy and clean.

If you need to stay at that area in Canberra this place is one of the very few choices. The centre is in walking distance, facilities are good, room spacious and clean. All you need is basically available. Surely laid our for business travelers.

Restraunt was only open for breakfast. Bed was lopsided and uncomfortable and could only sleep on 1 side or would roll out of bed. Shower was luke warm with bad pleasure. Fridge was turned off.

The motel nice and clean, however we booked and paid through agoda , the lady at the reception asked for my credit card and said no money will come out, $100 was take out,, when I rang the Asian man I would get it back with in 5 days,, not happy

Hotel was ok but when you get there they take and put on hold $100 deposit and you don’t get it back until a week later after your departure,, that’s correct a week a full week of not returning your $100 😮 I asked why and they just literally kept brushing it off as the whole world does the same thing,,,,, the whole world does not,,,, This is the first time I have seen a hotel do this....... so if you don’t mind lending the hotel $100 for a week well go for it but if you’re strapped for cash 💰 don’t go here find another hotel 🏨
