superb apartment, very clean and well appointed

I could handle picking up the key 1km away on check in but having to take it back 1km on checkout a pain. Buyer beware it’s a great apartment but privately owned and the resort treat you as such as you at not their guest.

There were a couple of detractions about this property. It is a private apartment in a resort complex, managed externally Bu the Boutique Collection. The management was fine, but accessing the property is an unpleasant experience. First, one needs to collect a key from a pickup point a km away, which is not appreciated until time of arrival, necessitating and additional trip and second; there is nor lift servicing the apartment which means dragging one's luggage up 2 flights of steps to the apartment, which for senior people is not feasible. Compounding this detraction, the resort provides no portering services, as the apartment is run privately. So these 2 detractions should be advised at point of booking in reviews, to enable the hirer decide is these matter.

The bed was divine, so bloody comfortable. Great spacious rooms. Loved the pools and share facilities. Great location. Gardens fabulous.

A few of the appliances were getting past their use by date. The dishwasher didn't dry dishes and the induction cooker was slow to heat.

Very poor & rude customer service !”

Property is spacious but hasn’t been maintained well. Many small ants all over the house, freezer which has never been used and rusted edges( pics will show). Air vents in the bathroom doesn’t work and the smell was really bad, was like there was something backing up and hasn’t been cleaned. The showers were old, nothing new about this property. They gave us expired milk, there was a coffee machine which didn’t have pods so pretty useless. Kettle looked like it was never used. Worst thing here is the customer service, I called in the morning about these problems and the person on the other end was really rude. Saying that this is normal, they sent us fresh milk for which we waiting nearly 1 hour. They said they can’t move us to another room in-spite of requesting, we actually had no idea that they don’t belong to the Alamanda by lancemore group, they are actually individually owned, which was a bit misleading to us. Not at all worth the money you spend here. You can goto Pullman or mantra where you will save money and get more.
