Pro: affordable hostel, clean, comfortable bed, good air-conditioning facilities, no bed bugs👍, free liquid soap and shampoo plus hand wash, reading lights and outlet for charging, free light breakfast, equipped w/cctv, honesty of staff and guest at its best👍, 24hrs reception area. Cons: tiny comfort room (only 2 rooms) can't accommodate high volume of guets, no lockers for luggage , good thing our roommates were honest☺. ☺value for money, cleanliness and honesty of the people. I would like to commend receptionist (forgot the name/I think he is an Indian national) for helping us in our itinerary and booking cab going to airport😊 Thanks 60's hostel and Agoda😉

Great location in Little India. Close to transport. Internet good. The staff were fantastic at the front desk Bad habit of cleaning staff just to come in room without knocking. No fridge in room but downstairs. Great discounts to attractions through them also

Value for money FOR SURE”
The location was very convenient, especially because it was near the City Square Mall, MRT stations & bus stop. Since I stayed with 5 other friends, we can have the room (and bathroom especially) for ourselves. The rooms was clean; sheets were fairly clean and definitely love the curtains. One thing though, since the hostel is near a temple, it can be loud sometimes, especially in the morning (until 10am) & sometimes in the evening (until 10PM); but overall, it was a nice stay for all of us.

Squeezy hostel”
Air con temperature setting is good, laundry is good, bedside curtain for privacy, clean place, friendly staffs. Slow wifi, very tiny toilet, rat searching for food at night, dark & gloomy room, quite some walking distance to the net train station, can hear loud temple praying in the evening. There were some long term local guests here.

Only staff asleep on the couch when I arrived. I get you're tired fair enough, maybe understaffed but not great for guests standing there knocking repeatedly until you wake up. Worst part was receiving a towel with a living bed bug nestled in. Scanned my bunk for more but didn't see any. My pillowcase looked used with hair on it. Bathroom was tiny and fairly unclean but could have been worse I guess. It was very cheap yes but there are plenty more affordable hostels in great locations nearby that looked a lot cleaner, so I'd spend your money there instead if I were to recommend. Sorry 60s hostel just an honest review, I urge you to put more focus onto your cleaning standards :(

Mouldy bathrooms ”
Well the beds were alright but the bathroom was so tiny. Shower toilet and sink were in one little room. Whenever you showered the whole bathroom would get wet. It was also very mouldy since it’s always wet. The breakfast ist miserabel and I saw several cockroaches in the little kitchen. For this price I defined recommend staying somewhere else.

Very unhygienic. My arms, legs and back had serious bedbug bites after second night staying in this hostel. I would rather pay more money and stay elsewhere if I knew the hygienic condition is this bad

Nightmare”
So many bedbugs appear in my bed although sprayed and change sheets and pillow. If u don't like itchy, I am highly recommend pay more few Singapore dollars and choose more clean and new bed. But staffs are not so bad, friendly and helpful.

There was mice in the dorm room that kept us up all night! Not helped by other guests brining in bags of food. This place is filled with mosquitos I got 40 bites in one night. No sleep due to bugs and mice and loud guests as you can understand we cancelled our booking after 1 night and moved out of there!! Just wish we hadn’t stayed for the first night!

We arrived around 1AM but we put in the reservation that we will arrive around that time. The receptionist was drunk. We cancelled the 3 days stay but we still paid the full 3 days. And he threatened that he will not report the payment to Agoda. He was rude and not customer oriented.

Nice hostel for backpackers which is 10-15 min walk from Farrer Park MRT Exit G. I believe there are two or more exits make sure you go to Exit G (where it says City Square Mall - just ask the locals or indians) bY following the directions inside the MRT. You'll know you are in the correct exit if you see City Square mall outside the MRT. Then, turn LEFT , youll pass temples, some pubs/clubs. They offer free breakfast (coffee and bread/butter). Note that preparing your breakfast is self service. Unlimited coffee and tea. They also have microwave should you want to heat your food. Nearest hawker center where you can eat budget food is in Tekka Center which is opposite side when you exit Little India MRT. Or, you can head to Chinatown which is 4 stop from farrer park mrt. When you exit Chinatown MRT , you can see right away the food stalls - just roam around and find the stalls where you want to eat. Tip: Buy a Singapore Tourist pass at the MRT inside the airport.
