Not for the Elderly

The lady at check-in informed us we had a 4th floor room, and there was no elevator. When I told her that this was not mentioned in the hotel description on the Agoda website, and that we were both more than 60 years old and would not be able to climb the steps, she was very rude, and said that there was no other room available. An older staff member then intervened, and consulted the owner, who immediately approved an upgrade. We were then given a room on the 2nd floor (1st floor being the ground level). The stairs were very steep and narrow. The room had rough floors and older people can stumble and fall. The bed had a raised platform aroound it, and if one is walking in the dark one can trip and fall. The bathroom floor is also not smooth, and very painfil for walking. We will NEVER EVER return to this hotel, nor will we recommend it to anybody.

Well appointed hotel close to the beach

Good value in this hotel. Large comfortable room with good aircon, Wifi and room safe. Would stay again if I wanted to be in Jomtien.

Amateurs of Sofitel, Hilton, Radisson, Marriott, Raffles etc, this place is not for you
This place is a nice family business, where the staff takes care of you a personnel way, you feel home although the hotel is so nicely decorated and cosy atmosphere

The rooms are really nice, and there is actually a eating table in the room which is perfect for longer stays. Nice TV, Bed, etc. Very comfortable.

The staff knows me by name and had prepared my check-in before my arrival. I signed my name and they gave me my room key. I had booked the 1-bedroom apartment this time - it's a very good space about 55 square meters. The room was very clean with beautiful decor, a kitchen and a big comfy bed. I enjoyed the small swimming pool which is a good alternative to the dirty water at the beach. Staff friendly and polite as always. I highly recommend!

A good relaxing stay, but a little disappointing.
Room design, the kitchenette, located a few minuets walk from the beach.

A nice relaxing stay. However, I had viewed this hotel on a previous visit to the area, and it has definitely gone down in quality.
The reception area has become noisy and worn. There are signs of wear on most areas.

I've stayed at the Nirvana several times. Each time, a room has been ready for occupancy and check-in less than 2 minutes. The rooms are consistently clean, but they are so beautifully designed and comfortable as well. Large clean bathroom. Though the pool is small, it is also clean. The Nirvana is a real 'find.'

Great find, location, room, and value for money!

We went to Pattaya for some R&Rs instead of the normal bars and clubs and really enjoyed staying in this area. Very relaxing environment without throngs of tourists and working girls. Hotel was small but room was huge, clean, and very comfortable with full kitchen, large refrigerator, and bathtub for two adults. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Will definitely return.

Better than I thought second time around

I had stayed at Nirvana previously and was not planning to stay here again as I am still in the process of trying out different accommodations. That said, I enjoyed my stay more than the first time. Breakfast is simple but adequte, the staff is cordial, the room is big, clean and stylishly decorated with Thai artwork. Overall a good value for the price I paid, even though it was the high season. The best part, of course, is its proximity to Jomtien Beach, just down the road, great for walks in the morning and evening, and lounging on a beach chair in between. I will stay here again.
